The tornado sirens went off twice. The second time, I grabbed my cameras and headed out east on 88 to Joslin. Got there too late to see any action. But on the way back, watched another storm brewing due SE of my position. Parked it about a mile away from the OTB and watched a beautiful yet developing storm pass on by. Strong enough to knock out power about 3 miles away.
I'll make sure the pic quality is better for online postings the next time around. Didn't have the digi set for high quality pics. Sorry about the detailing.
Severe Weather Moving NE into Moline. Unknown Date. Approx 6pm.
I can't remember the exact date. But it was during the time period we had weather after weather after weather. Great mammatus clouds moving overhead that early evening. The clouds churned like smoke. It was absolutely fabulous!
